The role
Information sits at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you'll help make sure information is easy to find, understand and use by improving how it's organised, managed and shared across the Department.
Working as part of a collaborative Information Asset Services team, you'll support metadata standards, information registers and digital platforms that help our people make informed decisions. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, translating complex information management requirements into practical solutions that improve discoverability, efficiency and service delivery.

What you will bring to the role
A passion for helping people access information that supports better business outcomes.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, practical way.
Sound judgement and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
Experience working with metadata, information management, data governance or related disciplines.
The ability to build trusted relationships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.




Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and accuracy.
Confidence using technology and digital tools to improve ways of working.
A growth mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt and continuously improve.
What is an essential requirement:
Tertiary qualifications in information management or a related field and/or equivalent knowledge and substantial experience in the IT and/or information management industry.
