The Role
As the TransportCoordinator, you will be a key member of the team, providing vital operational support to the Regional Transport Coordinator across a variety of areas:
Duties include
Coordinate and plan for group deliveries
Maximisevehicle utilisation in line with business guidelines
Liaise and communicate with third-party logistics providers
Allocate customer orders
Monitor and ensure all drivers adhere to COR requirements and maintain proper logbook checks
Oversee and support driver training initiatives
Ensure compliance with customer-specific delivery guidelines and standards
Skills & Experience
Degree or Diploma qualification is preferred, or significant industry experience
Demonstrated experience in transport planning & scheduling
Previous experience in the FMCG or Transport Logistics industry
Understanding of transport industry safety standards, COR, and Heavy Vehicle regulations
Experience using ERP systems
Strong skills in MS Word and Excel
Excellent communication abilities
