Job Description
What you'll be doing
As part of our Finance team, you'll play an important role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly by:
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving payment queries
Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting compliance requirements
Assisting with financial reporting, audits and month-end processes
Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and leverage technology to increase efficiency
Desired Skills and Experience
What we're looking for
We're seeking someone who is:
Detail-oriented and highly organised
A quick learner who enjoys developing new skills
Comfortable adapting to new systems
A strong communicator who can build positive working relationships
Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Curious, proactive and always looking for better ways of working
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
ability to remain focused and attentive when performing repetitive tasks, ensuring a consistently high level of accuracy
Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Optional:
Experience in finance, accounts administration or accounts payable
Experience using finance, ERP or invoice-processing systems
Experience in the aged care, disability or Support at Home sectors
Understanding of services that support older Australians
