About the Role
Within this context the Specialist VET Teacher will deliver and manage appropriate VET programs for students, through the provision of instructional and classroom-based activities, and the assessment of individual student progress.
Subject - Farm/Agriculture/Rural Futures.
We are offering
Ongoing - Start date 1 February ****
16.8 hours per fortnight (possibility of Base Grade Teaching duties available up to 53.2 hours per fortnight, please contact Susan Flinn for further information)

We are looking for
Essential
Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
Current certificate of registration; or provisional registration; or limited authority to teach granted by the Teachers Registration Board (Tasmania) in accordance with the provisions of the Teachers Registration Act ****)




Meet the requirements of the Credential Policy under the**** Standards for RTOsby holding one of the followingTAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor,
TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment,
TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment,
A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education or vocational education and training.
A secondary teaching qualificationandone of the following credentials:TAESS***** Assessor Skill Set, or
TAESS***** Assessor Skill Set or its successor, or
TAESS***** VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor.

Desirable Requirements
Experience in a Vocational Education and Training environment.
