Structural and Senior Structural Engineers
across
Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane
.
These opportunities suit experienced Structural Engineers who are ready to take on greater technical responsibility, lead projects and progress toward project leadership.
Depending on the opportunity, you may work across:
Residential apartment, multi-residential and mixed-use developments across Sydney
Remedial works on multi-storey buildings
Commercial-scale architectural buildings, including university and school projects (Brisbane)
Broader structural engineering projects across the Newcastle and Hunter region
You will take projects from concept and design through to documentation, construction support and site inspections. Some roles are purely design-focused.

About You
We are looking for Structural and Senior Structural Engineers with:




5+ years of hands-on structural engineering experience (4+ years considered for some roles, and up to 15 years for others)
Australian structural design experience, ideally in NSW or QLD, with full Australian working rights
Strong experience in
structural design, documentation and project delivery
Experience across
residential, multi-residential, mixed-use and/or commercial building projects
The ability to
lead structural projects from concept through to detailed design and construction
Strong design capability across
concrete, steel and timber structures
Proficiency in software such as
ETABS, SpaceGass, RAM Concept, RAPT and Structural Toolkit
Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
Strong technical problem-solving skills, initiative and independent thinking
The ability to conduct or support site inspections and construction-stage activities
Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients, architects, builders and other stakeholders
A collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
A genuine interest in mentoring and developing less experienced engineers
Highly Regarded
NSW Design Practitioner (Structural) and Professional Engineer registration under the DBPA legislation. This is essential for some roles.
Chartered status (CPEng / NER) or working toward it




Remedial experience on multistorey residential buildings
Education sector experience (universities and schools)
