About you
We are seeking an experienced, proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our Finance team on a full-time basis. This is a varied generalist role supporting the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions across the firm.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Processing accounts payable and payments
Managing accounts receivable and disbursements
Completing banking and payment reconciliations
Preparing journals and transfers
Collating and entering payroll data for external payroll provider
Reconciling credit cards and petty cash
Assisting with trust accounts and audits
Responding to internal finance queries
Providing general Finance team support
About the role
You will be organised, dependable and comfortable working with numbers and systems. You take pride in accuracy, communicate clearly and enjoy contributing to a supportive team.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:




Experience in a similar finance or accounts role
Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Initiative and practical problem-solving skills
Transparent communication and a service-focused approach
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Sound judgement with confidential information.
