About the Role
We're looking for a proactive
Medical Receptionist
to join our team for approximately
2–3 days per week
, at
$36–$40 per hour
including casual loading, depending on experience.
Working closely with our Practice Manager and administration team, you'll help keep the practice running smoothly while creating an excellent experience for our clients and clinicians.
Your day-to-day will include:
managing appointments, phone and email enquiries
coordinating waitlists and clinician diaries
processing referrals, Medicare, NDIS, billing and payments
liaising with GPs, referrers and other health professionals
maintaining accurate and confidential client records
supporting our psychologists and broader team.




This isn't just a reception role
. As you develop, there'll be opportunities to improve workflows, develop our systems and forms, explore AI and automation, and contribute to projects across the practice.
About Your Experience
Experience in psychology, allied health or medical administration would be highly regarded, particularly knowledge of Medicare, NDIS, billing or referral pathways.
We'd also value experience with:
Halaxy or another practice-management system
AI, automation or workflow tools
