The community of St Catherine of Siena, Armstrong Creek is seeking a Full TimeClassroom Teacher tocommence at the start of ****. We are very keen to fill this position and welcome the 'wisdom of the experienced' or the 'enthusiasm of the new' who wish to continue their professional growth and development in a nurturing school community. We promote collaboration within dynamic teaching teams and embed professional research and evidence-based practices. We are seeking a passionate teacher, who will embrace our school's vision for evidence-informed practices and be willing to undertake any professional development required. This classroom teaching position is fixed-term, commencing on Wednesday January 27th, **** and concluding on Wednesday 26th January, **** with a possibility of future employment. The year level is yet to be determined.

The successful applicant will have;
a robust commitment to Catholic education and the ethos of Catholic schools
a willingness to collaborate, support and contribute to the building of a professional learning culture
a dedicated commitment to working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds
the appropriate qualifications, skills and abilities necessary to provide students with rich and rewarding educational experiences, catering for individual needs in an inclusive learning environment
the capacity to implement efficient and effective classroom behaviour management strategies aligned with our current School Wide Positive Behaviour Management approach
strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive partnerships with staff, students and their families
an understanding and adhere to St Catherine of Siena Child Safety Policy and MACS Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order ****
current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching with an up to date Criminal Record check
accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School(this is an advantage)
