As a Learning Support Educator, you'll work hands‐on within small, predictable classrooms to help neurodivergent students access, engage in and enjoy their learning. Working closely with teachers and therapists, you play a key role in fostering a positive, individualised and engaging neuroaffirming learning environment where every learner is safe, seen and celebrated.

KIN College is opening a purpose‐designed campus in **** and we're searching for compassionate, reliable Learning Support Educators to join our founding team. KIN College is an creative, strengths‐based independent school for neurodivergent young people from Kindergarten to Year 13. Our classrooms are small, calm and sensory‐aware, with high staff‐to‐student ratios and predictable routines that help students feel confident, regulated and ready to learn.
We are a multidisciplinary team teachers, Learning Support Educators, therapists, psychologists and wellbeing staff working together to design genuinely personalised learning pathways for every student.

About the Role
As a Learning Support Educator, you'll work hands‐on within small, predictable classrooms to help neurodivergent students access, engage in and enjoy their learning. Working closely with teachers and therapists, you will:
Support structured, predictable learning routines
Help implement individualised learning plans
Embed therapy recommendations into daily practice
Support communication, emotional regulation and transitions
Use co‐regulation strategies, visual supports and sensory tools
Build safe, trusting relationships with students
Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists and families
Contribute observations that shape personalised learning pathways
Prepare resources and adjustments to support student needs

What We're Looking For
Certificate III or IV in Learning Support (or equivalent),orcurrently undertaking a teaching or allied health degree
A strengths‐based, neurodiversity‐affirming mindset
Strong relational and communication skills
Confidence supporting individualised plans, visual supports & sensory regulation
A calm, predictable, emotionally regulated presence
Openness to coaching, reflective practice & professional learning
Reliability, professionalism & alignment with KIN's values
Experience in a school environment
A valid Working with Children Check
