The Opportunity
Our client is a global manufacturing business backed by a leading private equity firm. Investing heavily in their Australian operations the business is experiencing significant and consistent year on year growth.
This is a senior role on the Finance Leadership Team, with real influence across the business. You'll lead FP&A;, Procurement and Supply Chain Finance, and Shared Services, and act as a trusted adviser to the Executive Leadership Team. You'll also play a key part in building a scalable, technology-enabled finance function.
The Challenge
Reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Own the budgeting, forecasting and longer-term strategic planning cycles, building models that show how operational drivers affect profit, cash and the balance sheet
Produce accurate, insightful performance reporting and commentary for the executive team
Identify the key risks and opportunities
Act as the senior finance partner to Procurement, Supply Chain and Demand Planning, covering spend analysis, supplier negotiations, logistics costs and make-versus-buy decisions
Independently validate procurement and supply chain savings to make sure benefits are real, measurable and sustainable
Lead Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations, strengthening service standards, controls and process efficiency




Own working capital performance and cash flow forecasting
Drive automation, standardisation and data improvements across planning, reporting and transactional finance
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team across analysis, business partnering and shared services
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
Significant senior finance experience across FP&A;, commercial finance, supply chain finance or finance operations
A proven record of leading budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and performance reporting
Experience partnering with Procurement, Supply Chain or Operations, and overseeing working capital or Shared Services
Advanced financial modelling and scenario analysis skills
FMCG or high-volume manufacturing experience highly regarded
SAP or comparable ERP experience, plus exposure to planning, BI and automation tools
Robust people leadership, and the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
