Haneco Lighting Australia - Old Guildford NSW
Reporting to the General Manager, you will assess market and customer requirements, develop category plans and manage products through sourcing, launch, performance review and withdrawal. You will bring commercial discipline to range, pricing and supplier decisions while working closely with Sales, Marketing, Inventory, Finance and technical stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Develop category plans and product roadmaps informed by customer needs, market intelligence, competitor activity and commercial performance.
Review sales, gross margin, pricing, product mix and inventory results, and recommend actions to improve category outcomes.
Build business cases for new products and range changes, including demand, landed cost, pricing, margin and risk.
Manage supplier relationships and work with internal teams to address cost, quality, service, delivery and product availability.
Coordinate product launches so stock, product information, sales support and required approvals are ready.
Work with Sales and technical teams on commercial projects, including product selection, quotations, lead times and pricing approvals.
Maintain visibility of the project pipeline,



follow up quotation outcomes and communicate material risks and opportunities.
About you
Demonstrated experience in category management, product management, buying or a comparable commercial role.
Experience in lighting, electrical products or another technical product market.
Confident analysing pricing, landed costs, gross margin, forecasts and inventory performance, and can turn that analysis into explicit recommendations.
Sound supplier management and negotiation skills.
Ability to coordinate several priorities at once and communicate effectively with both technical and commercial teams.
Commercially astute, accountable and comfortable taking ownership of work from initial assessment through to delivery.
