Our client, Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Inpatient Mental Health Unit on a three-month contract, commencing as soon as possible. Based in Broken Hill, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to deliver direct patient care in a specialised mental health setting, working alongside a dedicated clinical team in a regional healthcare environment.
Deliver direct nursing care to inpatients in a specialised mental health unit
Three-month contract position, available to start immediately
Based in Broken Hill, NSW, with a supportive regional healthcare team
Preferred Requirements
Recent, demonstrated experience working in an inpatient mental health setting




Strong clinical assessment and observation skills in mental health nursing
Ability to build therapeutic relationships with patients and support their recovery goals
Competence in mental health documentation and care planning
Flexibility and resilience in a rapid-paced clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
Mental health nursing qualification or post-graduate study in mental health is advantageous
