An ethically driven, design-led apparel business is accelerating its global growth and is seeking a Global Planning Manager to lead its planning function through the next phase of international expansion. This is a senior, highly visible role where your analysis and decisions will directly shape how the business grows.
The role
Reporting to the CEO, you will own global inventory across Australian and US warehouses and lead a planning team responsible for analytics, reporting, buying, pricing and critical path. You will move at pace, turn data into clear commercial recommendations and present them with confidence to the executive team.
What you will do
Own global inventory to SKU level, setting stock cover and safety stock aligned to sales forecasts
Prepare and present the monthly buy, manage OTB and report on spend against budget
Build buying plans, recommend order quantities and phase deliveries across regions
Analyse sales, margin, sell-through and stock turn by category, style, region and customer
Recommend pricing and model the impact of FX, tariffs, freight and raw materials
Identify slow sellers early and recommend clear strategies for aged and obsolete stock
Lead, coach and develop the planning team with clear priorities, KPIs and ways of working
Partner with Product, Design, Sourcing, Sales and Operations to deliver the right product to the right place at the right time
Drive process improvement across NetSuite and NetStock, and help shape the use of AI in planning
About you
7+ years in inventory or merchandise planning, including 3+ years in a senior planning leadership role
Apparel planning experience is essential
Proven track record improving forecast accuracy, stock availability and inventory efficiency
Strong commercial acumen, able to think strategically and act decisively
Confident presenting to senior stakeholders, with credible and influential communication
Data-driven, with strong forecasting skills and experience using ERP and planning tools
A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-growth environments
Comfortable working across time zones
