EL1 Program Management Office Assurance Officer Duration: 12 months with possibly for 12 month extension Location: QLD, WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, NT, SA, TAS Salary: $80 - $91 per hour Clearance : Baseline Our federal government client is seeking a Program Management Office Assurance Officer to support the governance and mobilisation of digital and transformation initiatives.
This role focuses on helping projects move from concept and business case development through to implementation readiness by establishing governance frameworks, managing risks, supporting stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with digital and government requirements.
Key responsibilities include: Establishing and improving project governance and reporting frameworks Supporting implementation readiness and transition planning Developing project documentation, governance papers and executive briefings Managing risks, issues, dependencies and delivery constraints Supporting business cases, investment proposals and implementation plans Engaging with stakeholders across business, policy, digital and delivery teams About you: Experience in project governance and implementation readiness Strong government sector experience,



ideally supporting complex reform initiatives Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Experience preparing executive briefs, governance papers and reporting Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance This is an excellent opportunity for a governance professional who enjoys creating structure, improving delivery outcomes and supporting complex programs in a government setting.
