Working in the kitchen you will be required to help with food prep, basic cooking, and dishes as per the chef's instructions.
This job needs someone with a can-do attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for all things food and hospitality.
This casual role will require the successful candidate to be reliable and available over a 7-day roster.
There are currently 15+ hours per week available with the prospect for increased hours based on performance and career development for the right candidate.
Food preparation and basic cooking Food hygiene, allergy, and awareness controls Cleaning duties Consistent and professional delivery of the venue's products Ensure a good understanding of all food offerings throughout the venue,
including being well versed in all menus Communicate and liaise with team members, kitchen, and other areas of operations as required Hygienic and neat presentation of the service and kitchen area(s) by adherence to all operating policies and procedures Follow Safe Work Procedures for all areas of the hotel at all times as per WHS Act **** and HACCP Any other duties directed by the hotel's management ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will have a friendly and approachable character with excellent communication skills and initiative.
