About the role
You'll prepare and cook food to a high standard, work with the team to deliver smooth service, and help maintain a safe, organised kitchen. Depending on your experience and where you work, you may run a section, support restaurant service, or prepare food for catering and community meal programs.
What you'll do
Prepare, cook and present dishes in line with recipes and specifications




Manage your section during service where appropriate to your role
Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
Store ingredients correctly, monitor stock and minimise waste
Work closely with chefs and other team members during busy periods
About you
You have kitchen experience as a chef, cook, commis chef or chef de partie; sound cooking and food safety skills; and a reliable, supportive approach to teamwork. Formal culinary training, gained in Australia or overseas, is welcome. You'll also need Australian working rights.
