This role is based out of our
Penrith
Workshop in Sydney.
This role is perfect if you enjoy autonomy, don't mind working solo, and like taking ownership of your day.
You'll be provided with a fully stocked van, complete with all parts to succeed.
We are looking for someone with experience and the ability to hit the ground running.
About the Role
As aField Service Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration systems on buses for our customers.
This full-time role is based out of our workshop in Penrith, NSW, and includes a company vehicle.
If you like being hands-on, solving problems, and working on-site with customers, this is a fantastic opportunity.
Day-to-day, you'll be:
Carrying out preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations of bus air-conditioning units
Diagnosing and troubleshooting refrigeration issues
Installing new refrigeration systems and components
Keeping accurate records of all work completed
Delivering great customer service and building relationships with clients
Working safely and following all industry standards and regulations
What We're Looking For




Experience as a transport refrigeration mechanic is highly regarded; candidates with an automotive electrical background and some air conditioning experience are also encouraged to apply
Bus or transport industry experience is a bonus, but not essential, as training and development support will be provided
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Good communication skills to work with customers and colleagues
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on field service work
Current driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites
