Service Technician
Adelaide-based | $*****/hour + vehicle + paid overtime
Are you an experienced Service Technician looking for a role offering variety, autonomy and genuine career progression?
We're seeking a hands-on Service Technician to service and maintain a range of automation, packaging, labelling and conveyor equipment across FMCG, food and fruit-packing environments.
Based in Adelaide Hills and travel to Riverland approximately fortnightly to monthly, typically staying 1–2 nights per trip.

Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair automation, packaging, labelling and conveyor equipment
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out effective repairs
Perform preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability
Attend customer sites across Mildura, the Adelaide Hills and Riverland




Participate in the rotating on-call roster and respond to breakdowns when required
Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
Support equipment installation, commissioning and continuous improvement
Build strong relationships with customers and provide professional technical support
What we're looking for
Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification or engineering background
Experience as a Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, Fitter, Electrician or similar
Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, fruit packing or industrial automation
Solid fault-finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance skills
Good communication, organisation and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current driver's licence
Willingness to travel and stay away 1–2 nights at a time (per month)
Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call roster and work overtime when required
