Civil Engineer - ( DY )
Description
Our Community Development team is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join them in Carrara, Gold Coast. In this role you will manage the civil design and documentation for a variety of land, urban and subdivision projects in both the public and private sectors, across an extensive regional client portfolio. You will be involved in resolving design constraints, coordinating projects, interfacing with various disciplines and delivering projects with the support of a multi-disciplinary design team.

Design, coordination and project management of land, urban and subdivision projects, from feasibility through to construction
Prepare technical reports and specifications
Provide technical expertise to clients and support projects
Manage projects including scheduling and the preparation of project budgets
Coordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects
Undertake and manage site inspections
Contribute to the development of Stantec's knowledge and skills in civil engineering including planning, design, and construction
Maintain existing and develop new, trusted relationships with key clients
Assist in the securing and delivery of projects by way of business development and client relationship management
What you will bring to the team
Bachelor of Civil Engineering
Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and the delivery of projects, ideally within urban, land and subdivisions
Experience and a sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modelling and construction
Project management skills
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including report writing.

Our client URGENTLY requires a Civil Engineer for 2 months + Contracts on the Gold Coast.
We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join a Corridor Management team. This role is essential for identifying future infrastructure projects and ensuring the protection and operational safety of the state transport network. Working under the guidance of senior engineering staff, you will provide technical expertise to manage the assessment of third-party road infrastructure projects, ensuring they align with legislative requirements and safety standards.
Skills and Experience required includes:
Must hold a four-year, Washington Accord accredited, Bachelor of Engineering or equivalence which is assessed/accepted by Engineers Australia against Washington Accord benchmarks.
Provide engineering input into the services and advice on technical issues related to development control and third-party activities that would impact on the road network program.
Communicate, verbally and in writing to stakeholders, information or advice on road network matters, including the preparation of technical reports, and replies to the public or to Ministerial correspondence.
Undertake assessments of third-party applications seeking approval to conduct an activity or install infrastructure in a State Controlled Corridor.
Contribute to the assessment and technical design review of activities relating to the State-controlled Road network, administered under the Planning Act **** and the Transport Infrastructure Act ****.
Government experience would be highly advantageous.
