First National Hall & Partners Real Estate is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team in Dandenong, VIC. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to develop your career in residential property management. You will work alongside experienced property managers, supporting the day-to-day operations of our residential portfolio. This role is based in office in Dandenong and offers the chance to build valuable experience in one of Australia's most dynamic real estate markets.
What you'll be doing
Assisting with the day to day management and coordination of a large residential real estate portfolio
Supporting tenant and landlord communications, responding to queries and managing maintenance requests in a timely manner
Conducting property inspections and preparing comprehensive inspection reports
Coordinating maintenance and repairs
Supporting lease administration, including preparing tenancy documentation and renewal letters
Maintaining accurate property records and databases
Supporting the property management team with general administrative tasks
What we're looking for
A genuine interest in property management and the real estate industry
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, landlords and contractors
Attention to detail and accuracy
Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Property Tree is advantageous




A customer service-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Knowledge of residential tenancy laws and property management practices, or willingness to obtain this knowledge
Relevant qualifications such as Real Estate License or Certificate IV in Property Services would be highly valued
A valid driver's license and access to reliable transport for property inspections
