Principal Digital Architects - Permanent - Perth

We are seeking multiple Principal Architects to provide strategic technology leadership and help drive Western Power's digital and business transformation. In these influential roles, you will shape enterprise architecture and technology roadmaps, ensuring technology investments are aligned to business strategy and positioned to deliver enduring value.

Partnering with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will champion innovative, practical and scalable technology solutions while establishing the architectural direction, governance and standards that underpin Western Power's future success.

Your Role in Action

- Provide strategic technology leadership and trusted advice to senior stakeholders, shaping technology decisions that enable business priorities, deliver value and support Western Power's long-term objectives.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategies and multi-year technology roadmaps, ensuring technology investments are aligned to business needs, emerging trends and future organisational capability requirements.
- Lead the identification, assessment and development of technology opportunities, guiding the adoption of innovative solutions that improve business performance while balancing risk, cost and sustainability.
- Champion architecture governance, standards and best practice, ensuring initiatives, projects and services align with enterprise architecture principles and contribute to a cohesive technology landscape.
- Partner with internal teams, delivery partners and industry stakeholders to influence outcomes, foster collaboration and ensure technology solutions are practical, scalable and fit for purpose.
- Provide architectural oversight and strategic guidance across major initiatives, helping teams navigate complex decisions, manage dependencies and maximise the value delivered through technology investments.
- Drive continuous improvement across architecture practices, frameworks and ways of working, promoting consistency, knowledge sharing and the effective use of technology across the organisation.




- Build strong relationships across the business and technology community, acting as a thought leader and helping shape Western Power's future through innovative, customer-focused and business-aligned technology solutions.

For Principal Digital Product Architects, you'll play a key role in shaping product and digital capability strategy, guiding architecture decisions across product streams, coordinating dependencies and enabling teams to deliver scalable, integrated solutions.

For Principal Enterprise Architects, you'll provide deep enterprise-wide leadership across areas such as cyber security, infrastructure and applications, while driving architecture standards, governance, technical direction and capability uplift across the Technology function.

What Makes You a Great Fit

- Extensive experience providing architecture leadership within large and complex organisations, with a proven ability to shape technology strategy, influence enterprise-wide outcomes and drive transformational change.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into practical, scalable and future-focused technology solutions.
- Broad knowledge across enterprise architecture domains, coupled with the ability to balance innovation, risk, governance and business value in a energetic environment.
- Deep understanding of modern technology platforms, application architectures and technology delivery practices, with the ability to guide complex decisions and build long-term organisational capability.
- Experience working within agile and product-led environments, partnering with delivery teams to navigate opportunities, dependencies, risks and technical debt while delivering business outcomes.
- Strong awareness of emerging technology trends,



with the ability to identify opportunities, challenge conventional thinking and apply new technologies to solve complex business challenges.
