EN-TECH Recruitment is partnering with a leading Australian automation and machinery integration business that designs, installs and supports sophisticated automated production and packaging systems. Due to continued growth across Queensland and Australia, we are seeking an experienced Service Technician/Field Service Technician to join the Brisbane team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician who enjoys fault finding, customer interaction and technical variety. You will support automated machinery across its full lifecycle - from installation and commissioning through to preventative maintenance, breakdowns and upgrades, as well as working commercially to support the ongoing development of clients accounts in the State.

Your Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work predominantly across customer sites throughout Queensland with a focus on SEQ, providing technical service and support across a range of automated machinery. Your responsibilities will include:

- Preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding and troubleshooting
- Conducting machine audits and identifying reliability issues
- Supporting installation and commissioning of new machinery
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and software
- Providing technical support and equipment training
- Identifying equipment upgrades and spare parts requirements
- Preparing customer quotations for upgrades and replacement parts

About You

We are looking for a technically capable,



customer-focused technician who enjoys working autonomously and solving problems, with an inquisitive and innovative approach to providing solutions and a commercial outlook on business. You will ideally have:

- Mechanical/Electrical Trade / Engineering qualification
- Experience as a Service, Field, Maintenance Technician or similar
- Experience within FMCG, food & beverage, packaging or manufacturing environments highly regarded
- Good understanding of machinery safety and risk assessment procedures
