Conplant Pty Ltd is the largest privately owned specialist compaction and construction equipment company in Australia. Our core business includes the hire and sale of compaction and construction equipment with associated servicing and the supply of parts and transport services nationally.

We are currently seeking a Field Service Mechanic to join our team based in Yatala . Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the business, ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed customer expectation.

The role:

- Undertake fault diagnosis and repair (mechanical, electrical, air conditioning and hydraulics) in a time sensitive customer facing, operational environment on customer sites and in Conplant's workshop.

- Provide a range of technical advice to customers (face to face and by telephone) to assist in the effective minimisation of unscheduled call outs and where necessary co-ordinate planned and ad hoc external resource allocation to minimise downtime, maintain operational capability and contribute to the maintenance of Conplant's fleet.

You will bring:

- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology

- Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology desirable but not essential.





- At least 2 years' experience working on heavy construction equipment, with ideally at least 12 months experience in a Field Service role.

- Current driving licence and ideally a Medium Rigid licence is required.

- General Construction Induction Card (White Card).

- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively whilst managing multiple priorities.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Attention to detail.
