This hands-on role combines field servicing at client sites with workshop repairs and refurbishment. Based in Canning Vale, you will work Monday to Friday with usual hours of 7.00 am–4.00 pm. Overtime may be required as needed. There is currently no weekend work or on-call roster.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect, service, diagnose faults and repair cranes and hoists
- Carry out preventative maintenance, workshop overhauls and functional testing
- Identify equipment defects and safety issues, and recommend repairs
- Complete explicit service reports and explain findings to customers
- Work safely with site teams, scheduling staff and workshop colleagues
About you
- Strong servicing and fault-finding skills
- At least 10 years' crane and hoist experience; applicants with transferable skills such as diesel mechanics or electrical motor experience are also welcome
- Current driver's licence, EWP licence and forklift licence
- An Electrical Contractor licence is highly desirable
- Ability to read technical information, work independently and communicate professionally
- A practical, reliable approach and commitment to safe, high-quality work
