About the role

Selected Seeds Pty Ltd is seeking a General Hand to join our team in Pittsworth, QLD. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our warehousing, storage and distribution operations. In this hands-on role, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of our facility, ensuring that our products are handled, stored and distributed safely and professionally. Your work will directly impact our ability to serve our customers and maintain the high standards that Selected Seeds Pty Ltd is known for.

Key responsibilities

- Preparation and mixing of seed

- Grading of seed

- Preparation and mixing of raw materials

- Bagging and packaging

- Assisting with receiving, dispatch and logistics when required

- Assisting with shed cleanliness, hygiene and pest control

- Assisting with basic maintenance of equipment

- Any other general duties assigned by your supervisor

What we're looking for

- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual work regularly, including lifting, carrying and standing for extended periods

- A strong commitment to health and safety practices and a willingness to follow procedures at all times

- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude towards work

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting





- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts is advantageous (formal training/certification can be provided)
