Job Title: Digital Specialist
Location: South Melbourne; Hybrid – WFH 2x/week
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: National Marketing & eCommerce Manager

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Digital Specialist to join our Marketing team. This role focuses on executing digital campaigns, particularly email marketing, alongside eCommerce initiatives and CMS content management. You will also support content creation, reporting, and ongoing optimisation to drive performance across digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Email & SMS Marketing:

- Develop and execute targeted email campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing, and optimisation.

- Create email automation workflows aligned with customer journeys and product categories.

- Manage email workflows from design to deployment, ensuring timely execution.

- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on email content, including copywriting and design.

- Track and analyse campaign performance to provide actionable insights and drive improvements.

- Support Members with local email marketing activity, including templates, campaign setup and general platform troubleshooting.

- Experience with SMS Marketing is a plus.

eCommerce Content Management:

- Manage and update content on eCommerce platforms, with experience in CMS tools like CommerceVision, Magento, or Shopify.

- Manage campaign and promotional website content, including banners, current offers, featured products, product carousels, catalogues, promotional codes and other onsite campaign elements.

- Create landing pages, upload blogs, and apply SEO best practices.

- Complete quality assurance checks following website updates to ensure links, products, imagery and layouts are functioning correctly.





- Support eCommerce optimisation efforts to improve customer experience (CX).

Digital Catalogue Management (Preferred but Not Required):

- Experience managing digital catalogues (eg. Flipsnack or similar) to manage product information, product feeds, field mapping, drive online engagement including sales conversion and enhance customer journeys.

Analytics & Reporting:

- Proficient in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Data Studio, and Excel to analyse and track digital performance.

- Generate detailed performance reports and identify opportunities for optimisation.

Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Coordinate end-to-end digital requirements for national campaigns across Marketing, Mercandise, IT, Suppliers and other stakeholders, ensuring activity is ready for campaign launch.

- Provide ongoing Local Area Marketing (LAM) and digital marketing support to Members, helping them activate national campaigns and meet local marketing requirements.

- Support Member onboarding and adoption of relevant marketing platforms, templates and self-service resources.

- Manage digital marketing and eCommerce projects, ensuring alignment with objectives and deadlines.

Support Design & Content Creation:





- Support the creation and coordination of organic and paid social media content as part of national campaigns and Member marketing activity.

- Assist in creating digital assets and visuals for websites and internal content using Canva.

- Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign or Photoshop is a plus.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Email Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in designing and managing email campaigns and automations on platforms like Klaviyo, Active Campaign, HubSpot, or Dot Digital.

- Ecommerce Platform Experience: Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Commerce Vision, Magento, and Shopify. Experience with Commerce Vision advantageous.

- Analytics Skills: High proficiency in GA4, Looker Studio, and Excel to generate actionable insights.

- Project Management: Strong ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with diverse teams to drive marketing initiatives.

- Design Skills: Intermediate to advanced Canva skills; experience with InDesign/Photoshop is a plus.

- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a cooperative, self-starter attitude.

- Customer Service: Excellent relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
