IPI Packers is an Australian Perth based company established in 1999 specialising in design and manufacture of inflatable packers and downhole tools. We manufacture high quality components assembled and tested by our assembly team for shipping around the globe to energy, construction, water and mining industries.

Our fleet consists of Okuma LB and Multus multi-tasking machines, manual centre lathes, mills plus our most recent addition are robotic cells which further enhances our manufacturing capability. High quality machines, tooling and equipment in a purpose built facility set up to optimize manufacturing.

We are looking for a CNC Machinist who is confident, innovative and has a ‘can do’ attitude with an appreciation of quality, team culture and a positive working environment with a dynamic team.

About you:

· Experienced in CNC operation and programming.

· High attention to detail with sound knowledge of measuring equipment.

· Relevant trade qualification and demonstrated work experience.





· Good communication skills.

· Able to interpret technical drawings.

· Okuma experience desirable but not essential.

· Skilled in setting and operating CNC lathes.

· Robust understanding of tooling and cutting conditions on different materials.

The position would be working on a 2-week rotating shift “days” being 6am - 2pm and second shift from 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday, with overtime available and penalty rates paid.
