About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll take ownership of all Victorian warehouse operations while leading a small team currently consisting of a Driver and Storeperson.

You'll work closely with sales, service and operations teams to ensure products are received, stored and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, customer service and inventory accuracy.

As the operation continues to grow, you'll play a key role in workforce planning, recruitment and team development, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow alongside the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the day-to-day warehouse operation across receiving, storage, inventory management and dispatch
- Supervise, mentor and develop warehouse team members
- Manage warehouse performance, productivity and service levels
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS requirements
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate deliveries and customer requirements




- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and increased efficiency
- Oversee inventory accuracy and warehouse procedures
- Manage warehouse equipment, fleet presentation and facility standards
- Support recruitment, onboarding and development of future team members
- Prepare operational reports and provide insights to management

About You

You're a hands-on warehouse leader who enjoys being actively involved in the operation while building strong relationships with your team.

You'll be someone who genuinely cares about people, takes pride in your work, and can confidently represent the business both internally and externally.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience leading warehouse, logistics or distribution operations
- Experience supervising and developing warehouse staff
- Robust understanding of inventory management and warehouse systems
- Proven ability to improve processes and drive operational performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to best practice
- Ability to balance operational oversight with hands-on involvement
- Experience with workforce planning and recruitment is highly regarded
- Forklift licence advantageous
