Red Arrow Australia are seeking experienced and safety conscious FIFO Tyre Technicians for our Tier 1 client in the Pilbara on a casual basis.

The tyre technician/fitter supports our client's mobile maintenance department across all mining operations. You will be responsible for fitting and repairing tyres on a wide range of light, heavy and earthmover machines including CAT, Liebherr, and Komatsu.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct tyre fitting and repairs on trucks, buses, tractors and other heavy commercial vehicles
- Inspect tyres for wear and tear, recommending suitable replacements or repairs when necessary
- Manage the stock of commercial vehicle tyres and related products
- Keep the work area and equipment clean, safe, and in positive working order
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and products used

Experience/Skills Required:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the mining or heavy industry.
- Experience with tyre handler, forklift operation, vehicle jacking and isolation.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and follow instructions
- Attention to detail in inspecting and servicing tyres.
- Understanding of automotive tyre systems and components.
- Computer literacy, including experience with MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of general workshop practices and housekeeping.
- Comprehensive knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) procedures.
- Strong organisational, communication, time management, and record-keeping skills

Qualifications:





- AUR21920 Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology or equivalent.
- Additional certifications in tyre servicing preferred.
- High-Risk Work License (HRWL): Certification for operating high-risk equipment, if applicable.
- Valid C Class driver's license

Flights from Perth to site, and site to Perth covered - Interstate/overseas flights to Perth are not covered.
All meals and accommodation are provided.

If you are successful for this position you will need to provide a current national police clearance, no older than 3 months, and pass a full heavy medical.

Must have full rights to work in Australia.
