We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to take ownership of major hydraulic services projects across Perth.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of hydraulic services packages, from design coordination and procurement through to commissioning and handover. You will oversee all aspects of delivery, including program, financial performance, subcontractor coordination and site safety.

The role calls for strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, sharp commercial awareness and a proactive leadership style. You will play a key part in upholding our high standards of quality, compliance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of hydraulic services projects, from award through to practical completion and the defects liability period

• Review project documentation and work with design consultants and builders to resolve design queries, RFIs and technical issues

• Develop and manage project programs in line with the head contractor’s program

• Manage procurement of plant,



equipment and materials in line with program and budget

• Prepare and track project budgets, cost-to-complete forecasts, monthly cost reports and progress claims

• Identify, price and manage variations, delay claims and contractual issues with the commercial team

• Lead site managers, trades and subcontractors to deliver work safely, on time and to a high standard

• Drive WHS compliance, risk management and environmental controls in line with company policy and WA legislation

• Oversee quality assurance, including ITPs, testing, commissioning and handover documentation

• Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, consultants and stakeholders

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• 5+ years’ project management experience in the hydraulic or building services sector

• A plumbing trade background, or a tertiary qualification in construction management, building services or mechanical engineering

• A proven track record delivering hydraulic services projects in the commercial or infrastructure sectors

• Sound knowledge of hydraulic services design, AS/NZS 3500 and the National Construction Code (NCC)

• A strong understanding of construction contracts,



budgeting and cost control

• Proficiency with project planning and construction management software (e.g. MS Project, Aconex, Procore or similar)

• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with all project stakeholders

• High attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality and safety

• A current White Card, Australian driver’s licence and full Australian working rights
