ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Landscape Architect to join our growing Landscape Architecture team.
The Landscape Architect will participate in all aspects of project delivery, from inception through to completion, while achieving high-quality and timely outcomes. You will contribute to concept design, documentation, contract administration, quality control and client engagement activities, while working collaboratively across multidisciplinary project teams.
The role requires a proactive individual who can work autonomously, think critically, problem-solve effectively and contribute to broader team objectives.
You will be supported through regular review, mentoring and guidance from senior team members while developing your qualified capability and project leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects across all stages, from concept design through to construction delivery
- Prepare concept designs, landscape plans, technical documentation and presentation material
- Assist with contract administration, site inspections and quality assurance activities
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders
- Support project delivery to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, within scope and to a high standard
- Participate in design workshops, project reviews and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Apply creative and practical design thinking to resolve project challenges
- Contribute to the achievement of team and business objectives
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications & Licences
- Recognised accredited degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline
- Membership with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) is desirable
- Working towards, or currently holding, Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) status with AILA
- Current White Card is desirable
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in Landscape Architecture, Architecture or a related discipline
- Robust proficiency in Revit, with a sound understanding of AutoCAD, Vectorworks, and other relevant 2D and 3D modelling software.
- Demonstrated horticultural knowledge and understanding of planting design principles
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying levels of complexity and at different stages of delivery
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgement in non-standard situations
- Excellent oral, graphic and written communication skills
- Strong presentation and visual communication capabilities
- Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to take initiative
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
