7R Logistics is seeking an experienced LNG Gas Tanker Driver to join our growing team in Dandenong, Victoria. This is a full time position that plays a critical role in our road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to our client. As an LNG Gas Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for operating specialised tanker vehicles and maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain LNG gas tanker vehicles in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle and cargo systems are in optimal working condition
- Safely transport LNG cargo to designated delivery locations, adhering to prescribed routes and schedules
- Perform loading and unloading operations in accordance with established protocols and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation relating to cargo, hours of service, and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and any operational concerns
- Comply with all chain of responsibility obligations and road transport legislation
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and incident reporting procedures
- Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the transport operation
- Sound knowledge of road transport regulations, including the Chain of Responsibility legislation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent safety awareness and commitment to zero-incident driving practices
- Solid communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers
- Reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct at all times
- Physical fitness to perform manual loading and unloading tasks
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including both day and night shifts in a 24/7 operation.
