This full-time People and Culture Advisor role at ALAND located in Parramatta, NSW offers an excellent opportunity to join a agile and growing company. As a People and Culture Advisor you will play a key part in supporting the Head of People and Culture and contributing to the success of the business.
Key responsibilities
- Providing generalist HR advice and support to managers and employees on a wide range of people-related matters
- Assisting with the implementation of HR policies, procedures and initiatives
- Administering the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
- Partnering with the business to identify and address HR-related needs and challenges
- Maintaining employee records and HR information systems
- Delivering HR-related training and coaching to managers and employees
- Providing advice and support on learning and development opportunities
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR practices and programs
About you
- 6+ years of generalist HR experience
- Experience in using Employment Hero (HRIS System) would be advantageous but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities
- Sound knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
