About the Role:
- Position: Casual Waiter/Sommelier
- Hours: 30+ hours per week (evening and weekend availability required)
- Location: Wineology, Brisbane
What You’ll Do:
- Provide warm, engaging, and professional table service in a fast-paced yet relaxed setting.
- Guide guests through our curated wine list with confidence and expertise.
- Offer food and wine pairing recommendations tailored to each guest’s taste.
- Assist with wine service including decanting, pouring, and cellar maintenance.
- Support general floor operations including taking orders, running food, and resetting tables.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous hospitality experience (sommelier or wine-focused service preferred).
- Strong wine knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing it.
- RSA certification (QLD) is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player with a positive attitude and professional presentation.
