An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Lawyer with approximately 3-5 years' PAE to join a highly regarded and genuinely different Sydney corporate practice.

This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated corporate transactions within a team that combines high technical standards with a commercial, practical and refreshingly modern approach to legal practice.

You will work closely with experienced corporate lawyers, have direct exposure to clients and take meaningful responsibility for transactions as your experience develops.

The Opportunity

The Corporate team advises across a broad range of transactional and advisory matters, providing an excellent platform for a mid-level lawyer looking to develop into a well-rounded corporate practitioner.

Your work will include matters across:

- private M&A;
- public M&A;
- capital raisings;
- corporate governance;
- corporate restructures;
- shareholder and investment arrangements;
- transaction structuring;
- due diligence;
- drafting and negotiating transaction documents; and
- broader corporate and commercial advisory matters.

Rather than being confined to one small component of a transaction, you will have the opportunity to become involved across the full lifecycle of deals, working closely with clients and senior lawyers from initial structuring and due diligence through to negotiation, execution and completion.

About You

We are ideally seeking a Corporate Lawyer with approximately 3-5 years' PAE.

You will preferably have experience across at least two of:

- private M&A;
- public M&A;
- capital raisings; and
- corporate governance.

That said, you don't need to tick every box.

Lawyers with strong corporate foundations who are ambitious,



intellectually curious and looking to broaden their transactional experience are also encouraged to enquire.

You will be:

- technically strong with a genuine desire to become an excellent corporate lawyer;
- commercially minded and interested in understanding your clients' businesses;
- confident drafting and negotiating corporate documents;
- comfortable taking responsibility for your work;
- collaborative and willing to contribute to the broader team; and
- enthusiastic about continuing to develop your transactional expertise.
