Enrights Solicitors is seeking an experienced and friendly legal assistant to join our team in Maitland. The role will be part-time or full-time depending on the candidate. Flexible arrangements are available. In this role, you will be providing competent legal administrative support to ensure the smooth running of a busy general legal practice.
Key responsibilities
- Working with solicitors to support day-to-day operation of matters including probate and administration of estates, conveyancing, litigation, and other general matters such as debt recovery and criminal and family law, leases and commercial agreements
About you
- Prior experience in legal work as a legal assistant/paralegal/secretary
- Demonstrated experience supporting legal teams
- Ability to independently under solicitor supervision manage conveyancing and estate matters is highly preferable
- Accurate skills with Office 365 and Outlook,
Leap legal software and MS Teams
- Keen eye for detail in document management and drafting skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Availability to work at least 3 days a week
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
