MST Lawyers is looking for a Lawyer/Associate at 2 – 4 years post qualification experience to join our busy Dispute Resolution and Litigation team practice.
We have seen growth in work volumes recently and would like to have a suitably qualified candidate join the team.
The team is led by a senior partner who has a history of spending time mentoring and developing the skills of juniors to assist them develop into experienced lawyers who have all the skills necessary to act independently.
MST offers hands on mentoring from an experienced senior principal, a good range of quality dispute files in the commercial, commercial leasing, franchising and building and construction spaces.

We also have a dedicated marketing staff member who can assist with marketing strategies.
The successful candidate will ideally have the following:
· A genuine interest in commercial litigation matters and a good technical knowledge of the law;
· A history of working on commercial litigation matters, ideally with a mix of supervised files as well as files where the candidate has taken the lead;
· Experience running their own compulsory conferences and mediations;
· A history of positive client management and communication;
· A history of working with barristers;
· Some experience with personal and general marketing; and
· Good interpersonal skills and experience with electronic file management systems.
The firm is open-minded to lawyers outside the PQE bracket that have in-depth experience. Whilst the role is targeted towards a Lawyer or Associate, we will consider lawyers below and above that title.
