- Attractive annual salary $135,149 - $148,929 p.a. plus 12% superannuation

What you’ll be doing:

This is an exciting leadership opportunity within the Infrastructure Solutions team, responsible for the delivery, support and continual improvement of the NSW RFS geospatial platforms and services.

Leading a team of geospatial specialists, you will oversee critical GIS capabilities that support emergency preparedness, response and recovery across NSW. Working closely with operational and corporate stakeholders, you'll provide technical leadership for the ArcGIS Enterprise platform, spatial data services, mapping applications and integration capabilities while driving service improvements and supporting a portfolio of strategic initiatives.

Reporting to the Manager Infrastructure Solutions, you will lead a high-performing team focused on delivering reliable, secure and innovative geospatial solutions that help the RFS make informed operational decisions and better serve the community.

Our ideal candidate:

- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise geospatial platforms and services, including extensive experience with ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Strong technical knowledge of spatial data management, catalogue, GIS architecture, web services and geospatial application delivery.




- Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build team capability and drive service improvements in a complex operational environment.

Describe your experience managing enterprise spatial data within a large organisation. In your response, explain your approach to spatial data governance, metadata management, data quality, cataloguing and the management of authoritative datasets. Include examples of how you have worked with emergency services agencies or other government data custodians to support data sharing, standards compliance, integration and operational outcomes.
2. Describe your experience managing and supporting enterprise geospatial platforms, including ArcGIS Enterprise environments within AWS. How have you ensured platform reliability, security and ongoing capability improvement while meeting operational business requirements?
