About the role
Partum Engineering is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our Hobart team.
This is an prospect for an experienced electrical engineer with robust overhead and underground distribution design experience to take ownership of a range of power infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
Deliver overhead and underground LV, MV and HV distribution designs
Prepare engineering designs, calculations, drawings and technical documentation
Work with clients, utilities, contractors and project teams
Review designs and provide technical guidance to engineers and designers
Ensure designs meet relevant Australian Standards and utility requirements
Provide technical support throughout project delivery
Mentor and support junior engineers
About you
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Strong experience in electrical distribution design
Experience across both overhead and underground networks
Knowledge of LV, MV and/or HV systems
Experience with Australian utilities, network operators or engineering consultancies
Robust understanding of relevant standards and utility requirements
Confident managing projects and stakeholder relationships
Experience with Australian network operators will be highly regarded.
