Yates Powder Coating is a long-established powder coating business in Banyo with a culture built on quality coating, continuous improvement and a great work workplace. Our plant runs multiple coating lines, with 1 conveyor line, and keeping it running is one of the most important jobs in the building.
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Fitter to own the maintenance and upkeep of our plant and equipment. This is an autonomous role reporting directly to the General Manager.
What you'll do
Maintain all plant and equipment across the factory
Run the preventive maintenance program and keep it documented
Respond to emergency breakdowns and get lines back up fast
Schedule repair work outside production hours to keep the factory moving
Carry out repairs to jigs, product handling equipment and general plant
Order parts and manage maintenance supplies
What you'll bring
A trade background in fitting and turning or similar (mechanical trade qualification well regarded)
Experience in a similar plant maintenance role
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Welding ability across steel and aluminium
A genuine focus on workplace health and safety
Good communication and the flexibility to work around production schedules
Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one)
