About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-focused Accounts Officer – Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable to join our finance team.
This is a hands-on role within our finance function, responsible for the accurate and timely management of accounts payable and receivable, maintaining financial records and supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day and month-end activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing supplier invoices, payments and AR/AP transactions
Coding and processing invoices in accordance with Company procedures
Processing customer payments, receipts, invoices and credit notes
Monitoring customer accounts and following up outstanding balances
Completing bank and account reconciliations
Investigating and resolving discrepancies
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Assisting with month-end processes and reconciliations
Providing general accounting and administrative support to the finance team
About you:
We are looking for an experienced accounts qualified who is organised, reliable and takes pride in maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
You will have:
Minimum 2 years' experience in accounts payable and receivable
Experience with Xero, NetSuite or other accounting systems
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Good understanding of accounting processes and financial records
Strong organisational and time management skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Positive communication and problem-solving skills
The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
