Hours: Daytime and Evenings - Monday to Friday
Pay: From $33.87 to $40.00 per hour under the Cleaning Services Award 2020, subject to classification.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cleaner Supervisor to oversee our cleaning team across commercial sites in Ballarat.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, has solid attention to detail and can lead a small team.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support cleaning staff.
Check cleaning quality and conduct site inspections.
Ensure cleaners complete their duties correctly and on time.
Train and assist new cleaners.
Monitor staff attendance and performance.
Assist with staff replacements when required.
Liaise with the Operations Manager and clients.
Report cleaning issues, maintenance issues and staff concerns.
Manage cleaning supplies and equipment.
Ensure WHS, chemical and safety procedures are followed.
Assist with cleaning when required.
Complete basic cleaning reports and checklists.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' commercial cleaning experience.
Previous supervisory experience preferred but not essential
Current Working With Children Check.
Current National Police Check.
Valid Australian Driver Licence.
Reliable transport.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
Available to work evenings.
