SALARY - $100,000 - $130,000 per annum, dependent on experience

LOCATION – Adelaide, SA
My client is a leading manufacturer operating within a highly regulated production setting. They are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Adelaide on a permanent basis.
The Manufacturing Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
Degree qualified in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering or similar
At least 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering or similar position
Experience within a pharmaceutical, chemical, food, medical device or similarly regulated manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of GMP requirements and regulated manufacturing environments
Experience working on capital projects from concept through to implementation
Experience with continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing or process optimisation
Robust understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and production systems
Experience with process validation, commissioning and qualification activities
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
The Manufacturing Engineer role will involve:
Supporting the development, improvement and optimisation of manufacturing processes
Managing and supporting capital projects including equipment upgrades, installations and new production systems
Working other internal teams to implement process improvements
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, quality and safety
Supporting commissioning, qualification and validation activities for recent and existing equipment
Developing and maintaining process documentation, procedures and work instructions
Investigating manufacturing issues and implementing corrective and preventative actions
Analysing production data and identifying opportunities for process optimisation
Working with suppliers and contractors throughout capital projects and equipment installations
Supporting the introduction of new products, processes and manufacturing equipment
