We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Architect with a minimum of 5 years of local experience and a proven track record working on Class 2 residential buildings.
In this role, you will run projects across their full lifecycle—leading them confidently from initial sketch design and development applications (DA) through to detailed documentation and construction administration.
This is a fantastic prospect for a mid-career qualified looking for a high degree of autonomy, direct client contact, and a clear path toward studio leadership.
You will:
Lead projects from concept through documentation, construction and handover.
Coordinate clients, consultants and project teams, keeping communication explicit and to ensure seamless design integration
Review and quality-check documentation, schedules, specifications, reports and presentation material for issue.
Resolve technical,
coordination and buildability challenges while protecting the design intent.
Skills and experience required:
Minimum 5 Years of architectural experience.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
Experience leading projects from concept to completion.
Experience coordinating consultant teams.
Experience on preparing and managing architectural documentation in strict accordance with the NSW Design and Building Practitioner (DBP) for Class 2 structures.
Experience preparing detailed architectural packages with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Advanced in Archicad.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
