Full Circle Support is looking for caring, reliable Disability Support Workers to join our local team. This role will mainly involve Supported Independent Living (SIL), with additional shifts available in our day programs.
In SIL, you’ll support participants with daily routines, independent lving, personal care, meal preparation, household tasks and community access.
In our day programs, you’ll help participants to access our community, enjoy activities and work towards their individual goals.
Across both settings, you’ll respect each person’s choices and provide support that suits their needs.
Shifts include weekday mornings and evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
Essential criteria
Experience supporting people with disability, including personal care
Certificate III in Disability/Community Services, or equivalent or willingness to obtain
Availability for weekday mornings and evenings, weekends, and sleepovers
A current driver licence
A registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
A current NDIS Worker Screening Check,
or willingness to obtain
Completion of required NDIS worker training modules, or willingness to complete them
A current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain
Ability to follow support plans, maintain qualified boundaries and write accurate shift notes
Robust communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in SIL and relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
