Bakers Dozen is looking for an experienced and reliable Cafe All Rounder to join our growing team in Sans Souci.
We’re an up-and-coming cafe with a excellent team, a fast-paced workplace and plenty of opportunity to grow. We’re looking for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in their work and can confidently jump between different areas of the cafe.
Key responsibilities
Taking customer orders and providing friendly service
Operating the POS and handling payments
Preparing and serving coffees and other drinks
Preparing cold drinks
Serving pastries and food
Clearing and resetting tables
Maintaining a clean and organised front of house
Restocking supplies throughout service
Assisting the team wherever needed during busy periods
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Opening and closing duties when required
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
Experienced in a cafe or hospitality environment
Confident working in a busy cafe
Friendly, outgoing and great with customers
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Able to multitask and stay calm during busy periods
Willing to learn and take direction
Available to work weekends
