Female Support Worker - Arabic Speaking

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced support worker to provide person-centred disability support that assists the participant with daily living activities, personal care, household tasks, and community participation.

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care
Assist with toileting, oral hygiene, dressing and other daily self-care activities.
Support with morning routines and daily living tasks.

Domestic Assistance
Prepare meals in accordance with dietary requirements.
Assist with household duties as required.

Community Access
Support participation in social, recreational and community activities.
Assist with transport and community outings.
Support attendance at places significant to the participant

Goal-Focused Support
Assist participant to work towards her goals relating to independence, community participation, communication, and emotional wellbeing.

Documentation and Communication
Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reporting.
Communicate effectively with other supports involved

Essential Requirements




Female applicants only – this is a genuine occupational requirement due to personal care needs.
Fluency in Arabic (spoken) – required to meet participant communication needs.
Current ABN and ability to invoice
Relevant experience supporting individuals with physical disability
NDIS Worker Screening Check (clearance)
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
First Aid & CPR (current)
Manual Handling training
Valid driver’s licence and fully insured vehicle

Currently, we are seeking to assign a female support worker on:

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 11:00am to 6:00pm ongoing.

Additional shifts may become available in future.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
