Join one of Tasmania’s established commercial HVAC contractors.
Since 2007, Klimate Solutions has serviced commercial, government and council clients across the state. We’re looking for an electrician with at least three years’ post-qualification experience who enjoys hands-on work, electrical fault finding and day-to-day HVAC maintenance.
You’ll have some experience with commercial HVAC and may also bring skills from industrial electrical work, mechanical services, controls or security systems.
The Role
Maintain, service and repair commercial HVAC equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical faults
Install and test electrical components and HVAC controls
Carry out electrical work associated with BMS and equipment upgrades
Work independently and alongside our refrigeration mechanics
Most work is around Hobart, with occasional travel to other Tasmanian sites.

$40–$55 per hour,
based on relevant experience and capability

What You’ll Bring
Electrical trade qualification and a current Tasmanian Electrical Practitioner’s Licence, or eligibility to obtain one
Practical electrical fault finding experience
Willingness to carry out routine HVAC maintenance as well as electrical work
Current driver’s licence and positive communication skills
Working with Vulnerable People registration is desirable. Applicants must have Australian permanent residency or unrestricted working rights.
