An opportunity exists for an experienced Structural Engineer to lead and grow a structural engineering team in Brisbane. This role combines technical leadership, project delivery and business development, with responsibility for building a robust team and maintaining client relationships across a diverse range of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop a team of structural engineers and designers.
Oversee the delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.
Manage project budgets, resourcing, schedules and technical quality.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients while identifying current business opportunities.
Provide technical guidance and review structural designs, calculations and documentation.
Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to deliver coordinated project outcomes.
Contribute to the growth of the Brisbane office, including training and team development.
Ensure projects comply with relevant Australian Standards,
building codes and industry requirements.
About You
Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Extensive experience in structural engineering consultancy, ideally with leadership experience.
Robust technical knowledge of structural design and Australian Standards.
Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop engineering teams.
Experience managing projects, budgets and client relationships.
Commercially minded, with the ability to identify and pursue new business prospects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
