Full time chance of 2 Welders for busy Truck bodies manufacturing company with good package and superannuation as per legislation.
The Applicant should be well qualified; Valuable communication skills required.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Responsible for:
Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents to determine welding requirements.
Prepare and clean metal surfaces by removing rust, scale, and contaminants.
Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders.
Perform welding tasks using various techniques to join, fabricate, or repair metal parts.
Inspect welds for quality and consistency, ensuring they meet specifications and standards.
Adjust welding parameters and equipment settings to accommodate different materials and welding positions.
Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear to safeguard against hazards.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and engineers to complete projects efficiently.
Document work completed and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
